Breathtaking Social D Show in London last night...Backyard Babies played a great opener, but Social Distortion really put on a truly amazing show. From 'Reach For the Sky' onwards the set truly accelerated into outer space and the living embodiment of pure blitzkrieg Rock 'n' Roll. Mike was pleased to note all the various generations at the show and the sold out crowd responded accordingly....awesome! Highlights? All of it really, but for me it had to be 'Footprints on My Ceiling', 'Sometimes', 'Story of My Life' and especially the version of 'Prison Bound'....the best I've ever heard and one of the best shows I've ever seen...right up there with with when I saw Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators, Ramones etc back in the day...yes, it was that good!
